Information ReHome may process

  • Seller profile and business profile information.
  • Listing information, item photos, proof files, and verification evidence.
  • Order, payment, payout, refund, dispute, report, and support information.

How ReHome uses information

  • Create and manage accounts.
  • Verify sellers and listings.
  • Display public marketplace information such as listing title, item suburb/city/province, store name, and store profile.
  • Process PayFast and manual EFT payments.
  • Coordinate transaction support and handover.
  • Manage disputes, reports, refunds, and payouts.
  • Protect users from fraud and platform abuse.
  • Comply with applicable law.

Buyer-seller contact privacy

ReHome does not show buyer and seller direct contact details to each other on buyer-facing or seller-facing transaction pages.

Admin may access contact details where needed for support, verification, handover coordination, dispute management, payout processing, or fraud prevention.

Service providers

ReHome may share necessary information with service providers such as hosting providers, database providers, file storage providers, payment providers, email/support providers, legal/accounting providers, or authorities where required by law.

Retention

ReHome stores personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for marketplace operations, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute records, accounting, and support history.
