ReHome Market terms
These terms apply when you use ReHome Market to browse, buy, sell, submit proof, make payment, open disputes, request support, or manage marketplace transactions.
Marketplace role
ReHome Market is an online marketplace for pre-owned home goods.
ReHome provides marketplace, payment coordination, listing review, support, and dispute management services.
ReHome is not the manufacturer of listed items and does not automatically own the listed goods. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, ownership, condition, and availability of their listed items.
User conduct
Users must provide accurate account information and must not use ReHome for fraud, scams, stolen goods, illegal goods, misleading listings, harassment, payment bypassing, or abuse of the dispute process.
Protected transactions
Buyers must use the ReHome payment process. Sellers must not request direct payment from buyers.
Buyer-seller direct communication is handled through ReHome. ReHome coordinates payment, handover, support, and disputes.
Platform control
ReHome may approve, reject, remove, hide, or suspend listings, accounts, stores, payments, payouts, or transactions where it reasonably believes there is risk, policy breach, suspected fraud, incorrect information, or a dispute.
Fees and amounts
Prices, fees, service fees, delivery fees, commissions, payout amounts, and refund amounts are shown during the transaction flow where applicable.
ReHome may charge buyer service fees and seller commission as shown on the platform.
Reservations
A reservation does not mean payment is complete. A listing may be reserved while payment is pending.
If payment is not completed within the reservation period, ReHome may cancel the order and make the item available again.
Payouts and disputes
ReHome may hold seller payout until the transaction process is complete.
Payout may be delayed or cancelled if there is a dispute, failed handover, refund decision, fraudulent activity, incorrect seller information, or other transaction risk.
Updates to terms
ReHome may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updated terms are published means you accept the updated terms.
Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.
